Please ensure that you have read all terms and conditions carefully before making your purchase.
By purchasing any item, you have agreed to the exclusive terms and conditions governing the sales between the Customer and MICALighting.com.au.

1. Orders
   1. All orders placed through this web site are subject to confirmation and acceptance by MICALighting.com.au.
   2. We reserve the right to change prices without notice due to the nature of the Lighting industry. MICALighting.com.au reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment made. If payment has been made for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will notify you immediately and refund the amount paid. We will inform you as soon as possible of any changes in prices, or cancellation of orders.
      
      
2. Prices
1. For all Australian orders, all of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax)
   For each online order, you must pay:  
1. The applicable price for the relevant goods confirmed by MICALighting.com.au;
2. The delivery and handling fee specified on the web site at that time.
   
2. For all Non-Australian (International) orders, all of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and exclude GST (Goods and services tax) once you have proceeded to the checkout, the totals will be automatically adjusted to reflect this.
   For each online order, you must pay:  
1. The applicable price for the relevant goods confirmed by MICALighting.com.au
2. The delivery and handling fee specified on the web site at that time.
   
3. For larger than normal items, you may be contacted after your purchase for an adjustement to the postage price.
4. (If applicable) any customs duties and taxes applicable to your countries law. These fees will be charged to you via your countries authorities once you receive the item.
   
   
3. Pick Ups
1. At times we may dispatch your order directly from the importer (not from our premises), therefore, we are unable to offer a pick-up service.
   
   
4. Delivery & Shipping
1. For Delivery Times, please see Delivery Information. Please use these as a guide only.
2. We will do our best to deliver your order promptly. Once funds have cleared, most items will be dispatched the following day.
3. Due to the excessive number of orders received everyday, next day dispatch applies only to orders placed prior to 9am. Otherwise, your order will be processed, the following day.
4. Orders will be delivered to the address specified by you.
5. Deliveries will be made to you by our contracted delivery drivers. Our preferred courier companies are namely Fastway Couriers, Australia Post & TNT Couriers.
6. While all care is taken in the packaging and postage of your purchase, we will assume no liability for any late delivery. In addition, this does not constitute a return nor a refund.
7. All orders delivered through our preferred couriers, includes insurance cover up to the total value of your order.
8. Missing or damaged goods while in transit, will be processed according to the terms and conditions of the courier company. Claims will only be recognised within 24hrs of the delivery.
   
9. If you are not available for collecting your item at the time of delivery, you will be liable (if charged by the Courier) to pay any additional fees associated with your parcel being sent out any consecutive times.


5. Availability
1. Every effort will be made to satisfy your order. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you at the earliest convenience.
2. In this instance, your order will either be placed on back order, or you will be issued with a store credit note or a refund.
   
   
6. Pictures & Product Descriptions:
1. Pictures are for illustrative purposes only.
2. Whilst every effort is made to make product descriptions as accurate as possible, errors may unintentionally occur. This maybe caused by the angle the photo was taken, the camera flash, etc.
3. If your purchase is of a very specific nature, and you require clarification on any item specifications, please contact our office via email, before making your purchase.
   
   
7. Payment Details
1. MICA Lighting requires that all purchases are to be paid in full within 3 days of sale.
2. If payment is not received within this period, you shall be notified via email. If no responce is received within 24hrs, your unpaid order will be automatically cancelled.
3. We accept the following methods of payment: Money Order, Bank Cheque, Credit Card (Visa, Master), and Direct Bank Deposits.
4. When paying by Direct Deposit, please use your order number as the payment reference. If for some reason this is not possible, email us the branch name and branch number (BSB), date and amount paid. This will ensure that we are able to dispatch your order promptly.
5. As we do not offer Pick-Ups, Cash on Delivery (C.O.D) is not a payment option.
6. Full Payment Instructions will be provided to you in the checkout.
7. Payment must be cleared before the goods are dispatched unless you have approved credit facilities with MICALighting.com.au.
   
   
8. Secure Credit card Payments
1. For security reasons we do not keep your credit card details on record.
2. Once your transaction has been completed, we do not have access to your credit card information. This is strictly regulated by the banking authorities.
3. Your credit card details are safe and secure. All credit card information is encoded using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, an encryption protocol that protects data as it travels over the Internet.
   
   
9. Returns Policy & Warranties
1. Individual product warranties are noted within each product description.
2. Warranty on Globes is Nil, unless found to be DOA (Dead On Arrival).
3. All warranties are void, if NOT installed by a licensed electrician.
4. Any items returned for warranty, must be accompanied by:
1. A Returns Code supplied by MICALighting.com.au
2. Original proof of purchase, and
3. A copy of the electrical certificate issued for the installation of these items by a licensed electrician.
5. Postage fees are non refundable.
6. For any items that are either "Damaged in Transit" or "Dead on Arrival" you must contact us within 24 hours of remittance. These items will be replaced as soon as the necessary procedures have been adopted.
7. The warranty coverage period begins from the date of purchase. Please refer to the product description for the specifics of all warranty periods as they differ from product to product. If no warranty period is specified then the item is sold as is.
8. All events such as physical damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product from being accepted as a fault under warranty.
9. It is the buyers responsibility to return any items to us at their cost. We recommend that you return items via an insured mail service for your protection.
10. If a registered service is not used, and we do not receive the returned item, then we will assume no responsibility.
11. It may take up to 10 business days to process your return after we receive your item.
12. Once the returned item is tested, if found to be not faulty, a reissue fee of 50% of the item price plus postage will be payable by the customer before we re-dispatch the items.
13. Where the goods are listed as "Sale no Return", then these items cannot be returned nor a credit or exchange issued at all.
14. We do not accept "change of mind" returns under any circumstance.
    
    
10. Cancellation
1. If you wish to cancel your order we ask that you advise us at least 48 hours before your planned delivery date and you will receive a full refund less 10%. This is the administration fee that will be charged.
2. Where the goods have been delivered to you and are as new (have not been used and still in their original packaging), a 20% restocking fee will apply. This only applies within 10 days purchase date. This refund will be issued as a store voucher, wich can only be used at MICALighting.com.au
3. If the 10 days has lapsed, then items may only be returned under the warranty clause.
4. We reserve the right to charge you to collect the goods and to charge you for any damage that may have occurred whilst the goods have been in your possession.
   
   
11. Liability
1. MICALighting.com.au shall not be liable to the Customer, or to any other person whomsoever, for any loss or damage whatsoever or howsoever caused arising directly or directly in connection with the Products, other than expressly imposed by statute in terms of which it is not possible to limit or exclude liability.
2. MICALighting.com.au expressly excludes liability for consequential loss or damage including but not limited to loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings.
   
   
12. Changes To Terms
1. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with or accept delivery of any goods from MICALighting.com.au
   
   
13. Applicable Law.
1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
   
   
14. Privacy Policy.
1. At MICALighting.com.au, we understand our customer's concerns about their personal information and how it is collected and used. We want to assure you that we are committed to protecting and handling our client's privacy securely and carefully.
2. For MICALighting.com.au to process your order, we need information such as your name, email or contact number, delivery address and payment details. We may share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order. Other information will also be collected with your permission from time to time. This will normally include preferences such as likes or dislikes.
3. Your Personal Information:
1. This will be collected when you log on, place an order or register with us.
2. This will not be collected when you visit our web site and surf our product list.
3. When you place an order and/or register your details with us, you will be asked for the following personal information: your name, e-mail address, mailing address, delivery address and any special delivery instructions and phone number.
4. The information we collect about our clients is used to process orders and to personalise their shopping experience.
5. Your personal information will not be shared, sold, rented or bartered to any third party without your permission.
