Please ensure that you have read all terms and conditions carefully before making your purchase.
By purchasing any item, you have agreed to the exclusive terms and conditions governing the sales between the Customer and MICAUnited.com.au.

  1. Orders
    1. All orders placed through this web site are subject to confirmation and acceptance by MICAUnited.com.au.
    2. We reserve the right to change prices without notice due to the nature of the Lighting industry. MICAUnited.com.au reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders, whether or not the order has been confirmed and payment made. If payment has been made for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will notify you immediately and refund the amount paid. We will inform you as soon as possible of any changes in prices, or cancellation of orders.

  2. Prices
    1. All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax)
      For each online order, you must pay:  
      1. the applicable price for the relevant goods confirmed by MICAUnited.com.au;
      2. the delivery and handling fee specified on the web site at that time.
    2. Your credit card details are safe and secure. All credit card information is encoded using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, an encryption protocol that protects data as it travels over the Internet.
    3. For security reasons we do not keep your credit card details on record.

  3. Pick Ups
    1. At times we may dispatch your order directly from the importer (not from our premises), therefore, we are unable to offer a pick-up service.

  4. Postage
    1. Delivery is FREE to all Melbourne metropolitan areas for any orders greater than AU$200.
    2. Most items will be delivered the next business day.
    3. Orders will be delivered to the address specified by you.
    4. Deliveries will be made to you by our contracted delivery drivers. Our preferred courier companies are namely Fastway Couriers and Australia Post.
    5. We will do our best to deliver your order promptly. Once funds have cleared, most items will be dispatched the following day.
    6. While all care is taken in the packaging and postage of your purchase, we will assume no liability for any late delivery.
    7. All orders delivered through our preferred couriers, includes insurance cover up to the total value of your order.
    8. Missing or damaged goods while in transit, will be processed according to the terms and conditions of the courier company.

  5. Availability
    1. Every effort will be made to satisfy your order. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will notify you at the earliest convenience.
    2. In this instance, your order will either be placed on back order, or you will be issued with a store credit note.

  6. Pictures & Product Descriptions:
    1. Pictures are for illustrative purposes only. Whilst every effort is made to make products descriptions as accurate as possible, errors may unintentionally occur.

  7. Payment Details
    1. MICA United P/L requires that all purchases are to be paid in full within 3 days of sale.
    2. We accept the following methods of payment: Money Order, Bank Cheque, Credit Card (Visa, Master), and Direct Bank Deposits.
    3. When paying by Direct Deposit, please use your order number as the payment reference. If for some reason this is not possible, email us the branch name and branch number (BSB), date and amount paid. This will ensure that we are able to dispatch your order promptly.
    4. As we do not offer Pick-Ups, Cash on Delivery (C.O.D) is not a payment option.
    5. Full Payment Instructions will be provided to you in the checkout.
    6. Payment must be cleared before the goods are dispatched unless you have approved credit facilities with MICAUnited.com.au.

  8. Returns Policy & Warranties
    1. Individual product warranties are noted within each product description.
    2. Warranty on Globes is Nil, unless found to be DOA (Dead On Arrival).
    3. All warranties are void, if NOT installed by a licensed electrician.
    4. Any items returned for warranty, must be accompanied by:
      1. Original proof of purchase, and
      2. A copy of the electrical certificate issued for the installation of these items by a licensed electrician..
    5. If you are not 100% satisfied that your purchased item is functioning as described in our advertisements, you may return the item within 14 days for a full refund.
    6. Postage fees are non refundable.
    7. For any items that are either "Damaged in Transit" or Dead on Arrival you must contact us within 7 days of remittance. These items will be replaced as soon as the necessary procedures have been adopted.
    8. The warranty coverage period begins from the date of purchase. Please refer to the product description for the specifics of all warranty periods as they differ from product to product. If no warranty period is specified then the item is sold as is. All events such as physical damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product from being accepted as a fault under warranty.
    9. It is the buyers responsibility to return any items to us at their cost. We recommend that you return items via an insured mail service for your protection.
    10. It may take up to 10 business days to process your return after we receive your item.
    11. Once the returned item is tested, if found to be not faulty, a reissue fee of 50% of the item price plus postage will be payable by the customer before we re-dispatch the items.

  9. Cancellation
    1. If you wish to cancel your order we ask that you advise us at least 48 hours before your planned delivery date and you will receive a full refund less 10%. This is the administration fee that will be charged.
    2. Where the goods have been delivered to you and are as new (have not been used), a 20% restocking fee will apply.
    3. We reserve the right to charge you to collect the goods and to charge you for any damage that may have occurred whilst the goods have been in your possession.

  10. Liability
    1. MICAUnited.com.au shall not be liable to the Customer, or to any other person whomsoever, for any loss or damage whatsoever or howsoever caused arising directly or directly in connection with the Products, other than expressly imposed by statute in terms of which it is not possible to limit or exclude liability.
    2. MICAUnited.com.au expressly excludes liability for consequential loss or damage including but not limited to loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings.

  11. Changes To Terms
    1. These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with or accept delivery of any goods from MICAUnited.com.au

  12. Applicable Law.
    1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

  13. Privacy Policy.
    1. At MICAUnited.com.au, we understand our customer's concerns about their personal information and how it is collected and used. We want to assure you that we are committed to protecting and handling our client's privacy securely and carefully.
    2. For MICAUnited.com.au to process your order, we need information such as your name, email or contact number, delivery address and payment details. We may share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. For example, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order. Other information will also be collected with your permission from time to time. This will normally include preferences such as likes or dislikes.
    3. Your Personal Information:
      1. This will be collected when you log on, place an order or register with us.
      2. This will not be collected when you visit our web site and surf our product list.
      3. When you place an order and/or register your details with us, you will be asked for the following personal information: your name, e-mail address, mailing address, delivery address and any special delivery instructions and phone number.
      4. The information we collect about our clients is used to process orders and to personalise their shopping experience.
      5. Your personal information will not be shared, sold, rented or bartered to any third party without your permission.
