Trapeze Lights - All You need to know!

When ordering Trapeze Lights, please consider the following checklist:
- Trapeze Cable:
- Determine the length per run.
- Allow two wires per run.
- Allow extra lead length to connect to the transformer.
- Turnbuckle:
- A standard run requires 4 turnbuckles.
- But, for short runs, (within 5m) 2 turnbuckles may be replaced with 2 fixed or adjustable ends.
- Transformer:
- Calculate the power required, according to watts and number of lamps used (simply multiply the watts by number of globes).
- Determine if the transformer will be visible or hidden.
- If visible, you will require the Surface Mounted Version.
- If hidden, you will require the Remote Version.
- Note: It is highly advised, that Normal electronic transformers should not be used with trapeze lighting installations.
- Standoff:
- To maintain a straight level run a pair of standoffs.
- These will be required to be placed between no less than 1.5m apart, and no more than 3m apart.
- Insulated Joiner / Tensioner:
- This is ideal for when a run becomes too long (more than 15m) to a power connection.
- Splitting the run into 2 isolated power supplies is neccessary.
